Boat Repair Service
The Janousek Service Centre consists of a dedicated team of craftsmen with many years of experience in repairing Janousek racing boats.
Based on this experience we know that when you need a boat repaired due to an accident you would like the whole process to be as simple as possible.
With that in mind we have developed a new Repair Service that we believe will make the process a little easier for everyone.
The key elements of our Repair Service are as follows:
Rapid Estimate
We can provide you with a Rapid Estimate based on photographs you can send us from your mobile phone or by email. Simply fill out our online estimate form, adding any photographs of the damage (using a tape measure or shoe next to the damage to give us a reference of size) and send them to sam@janousek.co.uk. Based on what we can see we will give you our Rapid Estimate range of the likely cost. If that is acceptable to you then you will need to book your boat in for repair. We will also email you a Repair reference number that will be the unique reference for your boat repair.
Repair Booking Online
Please complete our online Repair Booking form to ensure that your boat is booked in. If your boat repair is being paid, partially or fully, by a recognised insurer please advise us of this on the Repair Booking form.
Our normal arrangement is that you, as the owner, are responsible for payment of all repairs. Any monies that you may be receiving from an insurance company should be paid to you directly by the insurance company. We are more than happy to keep the insurance company advised of the repair status by copying them on all emails we send to you. Please notify us on the Repair Booking form if you would like us to do this.
Confirmed Estimate
- Once your boat has arrived at the Janousek Service Centre we will advise you by email or text of the final Confirmed Estimate and the likely repair completion date. Full details will be in the email including the Materials and Labour costs.
- We will only proceed to complete the repair when we have had acceptance from you either by email or text.
- We reserve the right to make a charge for the preparation of the Confirmed Estimate in the event that you decide not to go ahead with the repair for any reason.
Completion of Repair
- When the repair has been completed by our craftsmen we will email or text you to advise you. We will then charge your card with the cost of the repair.
Return of your Boat
If you have arranged for our Boat Transport Service to return your boat then we will arrange that for you.
